R.E.A.L.I.T.Y
R.E.A.L.I.T.Y
Bill Gates, the wealthiest man in the world today with an estimated worth of $95billion and leader of Microsoft Corporation, one of the most successful companies of all time, once offered these eleven rules for the would-be wealthy:
Rule 1 – Life is not fair – get used to it.
Rule 2 – The world won’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3 – You will NOT make $40000 a year straight out of high school. You won’t be a vice president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4 – If you think your teacher is tough; wait till you get a boss. He doesn’t have tenure.
Rule 5 – Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping – they called it opportunity.
Rule 6 – If you mess up, its not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7 – Before you were born, you parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the rainforest from the parasites of your parents’ generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8 – Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t ear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9 – Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10 – Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffeeshop and go to jobs.
Rule 11 – Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.
“Success is not that hard either. It’s only hard if we’re not prepared to work, get smart and do things we don’t want to do.”

Losers or Winners?
Losers or Winners?- Losers let it happen; winners make it happen
- Losers step on flowers in search of weeds; winners pull up weeds while enjoying the fragrance of flowers
- Losers always have an excuse; winners always have an idea
- Losers say ‘It’s not my fault’; winners say ‘Let me help you’
- Losers see a problem for every answer; winners see an answer for every problem
- Losers are down on life and high on drugs; winners are down on drugs and high on life
- Losers fix the blame; winners fix the situation
- Losers see the thunderstorms and icy streets; winners see rainbows and ice skates
- Losers say ‘Why don’t they do something?’; winners say ‘Here’s something I’m going to do’
- Losers are failure conscious; winners are success conscious
- Losers do it to others and split; winners do it for others
- Losers say ‘It might be possible, but it’s too difficult’; winners say ‘It might be difficult, but it’s always possible’.
We can choose to adopt the attitudes of winners (:

The devil's number one strategy to get you to fail is for you to procrastinate.
What the fool does in the end, the wise man does in the beginning.
Remember, prolonged idleness paralyzes initiative.
"There are those of us who are always about to live.
We're waiting until things change,
until there is more time,
until we are less tired,
until we get a promotion,
until we settle down
--until, until, until.
It always seems that there is some major event
that must occur in our lives before we begin living"
George Sheehan
One of these days is really none of these days.
The person who desires, but doesn't act, breeds stagnation.
About the only thing that comes to him who waits is old age.
You can't build your reputation on what you're going to do tomorrow.
Do today what you want to postpone until tomorrow.
Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging-on of an uncompleted task.
When you run in place everyone will pass you by.
"Do not allow idleness to deceive you;
for while you give him today,
he steals tomorrow from you"
H. Crowquill
There is danger in delay for
it is always better to reap two days too soon than one day too late.
Pity the man who waits until the last day.
If possible, make the decision now,
even if the action is in the future.
A reviewed decision is usually better than one reached at the last moment.
He who fiddles around seldom gets to lead the orchestra.

"What does love look like?
It has hands to help others.
It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy.
It has the eyes to see misery and want.
It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrow of men.
And that is what love looks like" (Augustine).
Do all things with love.
Because love opens,
love asks,
love expands, and
love creates.
